more than two billion people live with some form of visual impairment, holding the world together by sound instead of sight. we shot this film on a camera with no lens at all — just light falling directly onto the sensor, the way it falls onto a closed eyelid — and built the images from a documentary study of one blind man's ordinary day. the most familiar moments, told by someone who has never seen them.
